Rookie League welcome newcomers who have either completed a Learn 2 Curl class, or are still at Beginner experience level looking to understand the basics of curling better. This is for those who have participated in a Learn to Curl, still getting their feet wet, and want to get to ready to move into regular league play. Teams consist of four players of any gender combination.

This league consists of a 4-week curriculum to let new players join at any time during the season. After completing four rookie league nights, players "graduate" and are encouraged to join a regular session team.

Rookie games will be played on the following dates:

• May 8th
• May 15th
• May 22nd
• June 5
  

*Any draw dates which are cancelled due to scheduling conflicts with Windy City Curling Club events, equipment malfunction, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstance will be rescheduled at the discretion of Windy City Curling Club. Refunds for cancelled draw dates will be issued at the sole discretion of Windy City Curling Club.
